it would be nice to actually talk to someone instead of a recording that seems to lead almost nowhere.however I understand that the caseloads are numerous for these workers and that they maybe overwhelmed.

all I have to say is you need to update your income guideline for families. working people are trying to make ends meet as well and when we have to ask for help its bad enough..

As others have mentioned, no one answers the phone. I called to lodge a complaint due to the rudeness of someone named Mrs. Torres who felt that they could yell at my mother over the phone simply for calling to inform them that she had to make some changes. I will be calling again. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Where Are My BENEFITS?

I'm trying to make contact with the receptionist and no one is answering the phone but claim to be assisting other callers and the phone hangs up. Very unprofessional people who work here. How about firing them and hire people who will actually come to work on time and perform the necessary job, unlike the people who already work there, then maybe we wouldn't need the assistance any longer. My benefits has been cut for no reason at all. I have not received a letter stating it would be cut off. I want to know what's going on. I will be contacting The Better Business Bureau after this message is sent.

Lost my renewal stuff, can't talk to anyone in the office. Looking to speak with a supervisor or file a complaint. Half the people working there should be fired. They aren't overwhelmed, they are always on vacation. And when they are there they can't do their job right. My suspicion is that several people working there harbor prejudice against low income people, giving them an incentive to misplace files, not return calls, be rude, etc. Other county assistance offices are not like this. Just Cambria County, in my experience.

I always receive forms that are due back to them they day they want them returned! Then, when you call the office you always have to leave a message. But, they will NEVER call you back.
